A “pilot group,” composed of 11 6th and 7th grade boys and girls at a well-known Christian school in metropolitan Atlanta, read Bethany and gave their thoughts to a teacher-coordinator. Their conclusions were very encouraging: All said that they enjoyed the plot and characters and would recommend Bethany to a friend! The teacher-coordinator summarized her observations as follows: “In my estimation, your book helped them to build a continuous narrative that helped them connect the pieces of the Old Testament.”
